Great relaxing weekend with friends!
On Friday night the celebration was on, which made Saturday a very slow day on the river and doing anything.
Another very healthy rainbow caught on the "two bit hooker", damn that Charlie Craven guy.
the "Boat Box"
Sunday greeted us to a beautiful dusting of snow. What a beautiful morning.

Any of the X-Caddis pattern are winners, this will also be a true classic. Trout cannot resist these.

Just Like Sex!
You need a good smoke after a couple of nice fish. Nothing better than fishing, a fine cigar and, well a few other things.

Thinking of Summer
Came across this nice fish that was caught last summer, man I am yearning to start throwing big dries to the banks.

Garcia's Mini Hot- A must have in all flybox's
You should tie or have a selection in all the color combinations of this fly. What a fish catcher. Designed by our good friend Greg Garcia. Especially in the tan and olive color patterns.
Decided to Splurge on a new Gadget
Not many new gadgets out there this year, but have looked at these several times while in Charlie's Flybox and decided I better have one, maybe two as the wife will have to have on too!! I like the way they are built with the replaceable cutting edges and eye cleaner. Plus its just cool. Most don't have them!!

First Weekend Float of the Year
Got a chance to put the boat on the water for the first time this weekend. I always forget the power the little blue rubber boat has on the soul. What a terrific feeling and my mind does nothing but wonder and enjoy the time on the water.
