Time Well Spent

Snow is melting, shelf ice is subsiding, it is now time to dust off the gear and head to the ditch.
Time spent on the river, stream and lake is stress relieving even when the catching is not great.
Hearing the peaceful flow of the water, gulps of the rising fish, and the occasional internal smile when  that fish is hooked. River time  is Time Well Spent.

Guide Gear

Sometimes just the essential are nestled next to the guide as he eases you down the river
in search of the rising fish. A little tippet, well a couple of flies and of course some Copenhagen to take the edge off the morning .

Hurricane Remnants

Depending on the severity of the wind and waves as the hurricanes roll
past the island, the docks take some of the worst beatings. Many were still under repair
and being rebuilt on our recent trip.

Always to bad, as there are many fish the hang around the docks, so such a great place
to spot, watch and fish.
