Headhunter Flyshop / The Missouri

We had the opportunity to make an early trip to the Missouri River 45 day earlier than expected, and other than the rain, wind and occasional hail, it treated us with great hospitality. We had the opportunity to visit the infamous "Headhunter Flyshop and Izzacks". We where not disappointed. The shop had everything and more a junkie could need and more. We managed to spend a few bucks too, buying items  we just had to have!! After a cold, rainy day of fishing, the bar at Izzacks treated me to several well deserved Glenlevets. Oh, where they good. And the food was out of this world too.

I am looking forward to spend three more days in July, too enjoy more of the fishing and more atmosphere at Izzack's. Thanks to all at Headhunters for treating us great and listing us on the blog roll.

Streamer Day #2- Even better Saturday.

Sunday began with extremely low cloud layer and cool damp conditions. For a second day streamer fisherman, I thought I should give it another try. I think I could be hooked. We only did a short float, but the fish were on a serious feed. Nice to see the chase and capture of the fly. Successful catch.

Damn now I will have to learn to tie streamers, even more materials. Damn the luck.
