It's Time

It looks like the stars will finally align to get the new boat out on the ditch this weekend.
It is far overdue, as my stress level has hit the all time high, and it is time for the first fish, a few photos and cigar.  That should put everything back in perspective.

Lunch on the Tulips

A beautiful lunch spot on the Humptulips River in Washington State. A stunning steelhead river, that would treat us to a fantastic day of fishing and amazing scenery.

Time Well Spent

Snow is melting, shelf ice is subsiding, it is now time to dust off the gear and head to the ditch.
Time spent on the river, stream and lake is stress relieving even when the catching is not great.
Hearing the peaceful flow of the water, gulps of the rising fish, and the occasional internal smile when  that fish is hooked. River time  is Time Well Spent.
