Join me on Saturday February 2nd at Charlie's Flybox as I present Fly Patterns of the Arkansas River.
I always Thank Charlie for asking a hack like me to tie for his customer and interested on lookers, as many of the others that tie on Saturday's are among the very best Colorado has to offer.

Come down for a good time and I am sure some hecklers in the crowd.

Standing room only, from last years show, just kidding, paid folks from the street to look
interested.

Cool Waters

Be careful if you are out there fishing right now, it is very dangerous getting to the river.
The ice shelves are very slick and dangerous, water is clear and deep. Just a little deceiving this
time of year, however, there are fish to be caught.

"Hanging it Up For the Day"

Not a great day for the football teams yesterday. Some had it in the bag and are going to have an extended saltwater fishing season, and some are just did not show up to play in a divisional game.
Oh well, now I can get back to the things that matter, tying, putting the boat back togethers getting out to fish.

Happy 2013 from Floatfisher

A few glasses were lifted to toast a great 2012 and many great things it offered Ms. Floatfisher and I.
Once again, we crested the 75 day fishing mark with many great days of fishing. Many days were spent on / off the rivers with friends and family, and then,  capped off with a
remarkable trip to Montana, to enjoy all the fine folks, rivers and sights.

As we embark on a new year, we look forward to a milestone birthday for one of us, which should provide another stellar fishing opportunity, somewhere. We have many new rivers to float in our new
boat that was acquired in July.

2013 will definitely mean more fishing for cut ties, our favorite

Christ, did I mention, that we have over 5000 grape slushes to fish with this year. I know fish will love
purple this year. Just wait and see.

Just when you thought the "Tug is the Drug", Suckers need loving too.
As the sun has set on 2012, let us begin 2013 in grand fashion.
