Take Time Out

Taking time out and setting the fly rod down is extremely tough to do at times, especially this time of year, as the river warm up and the fishing gets good. However the dividends in the sights can really payoff.  The morning sunrises, the daytime cloud formations and setting sun can offer stellar view.
Looking up to capture these takes the right time and place.

Knock, Knock ------ Just a Few more Degree's

We are starting to knock on the door to the Famed Mothers Day Caddis hatch on the Arkansas River (or Tax Day as it should be called). Waters are rapidly warming and bug of all types becoming very, very active. We are only about 6 degrees away from the ideal water temperatures. A very few caddis were bobbing and weaving around the river yesterday

Knock, Knock we are on the way!!
