Late Winter Fishing- Midge Style


I don't like to fish the small stuff very much, but is is very effective this time of the year. The nice thing 
about these flies is the ease factor. You can pump them out like no tomorrow.

Dorsey's Mercury Midge

  1. I hear ya on both accounts, and definitely love the "fill your fly box" aspect of tying little flies. Hope you guys are doing good and hope to see you in Montana again someday!

    1. JOE- WILL BE COMING BACK UP TO TB FOR 2 WEEKS IN JULY THIS YEAR, IT IS MARY'S 50TH BIRTHDAY, CELEBRATING BIG. WILL BE STAY IN THE BIG CABIN AT BIG TROUT RANCH FOR THE TIME. DO YOU DO ANY PERSONAL GUIDING, OR JUST FOR THE STONEFLY DURING THE SUMMER, WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR DAILY TRIPS FOR A TWO BOATS ON JULY 14-17TH OR SO, CAN BE FLEXIBLE. OR ANYONE YOU CAN RECOMMEND.
