Rainbow of the Day

Great picture of this pretty rainbow that was caught yesterday. I especially like the beautiful coloring on the gill plate, spectacular. As you can see the fish fell to 
the wonderful green wire prince, trailed by a two bit hooker.

May 1st - 6" of New Snow? How Nice

May Day ushered in 6" of fresh heavy wet snow, what at great sight to see down here, has been a touch dry. Needed this moisture to take down the fire danger. In addition, it provided so terrific fish and great photo opportunities. In addition, it sent some fisherman home, cause they are fair weathered!

Getting ready for the day, boat a little full of snow.

First fish of the day on the first cast, always a nice start. It continued all the way down the river.
