Drift Boat Drive In- Craig, Mt

Where you going to be on May 15th? Anywhere around Craig, MT , if so you should

plan on spending the day floating and fishing during the day, making sure to leave plenty of

beer in the cooler for the Driftboat Drive-In , later that night.

This is a special treat to the locals and visitors in Craig while visiting in Craig . Come view local made videos form the Montana Fishing Film Festival. Pull up, drop off the raft or drift boat in front of the screen on main street, at sundown, get ready for a little fun and beer drinking.

Come one, Come all, support a great cause.

"Fish on the Lower" by Brickhouse Creative

Came across this beautifully shot video short by Brickhouse Creative. I am always mesmerized by the close up shots of rising fish taking dries. The photography and editing are very nice on this short film. Check it out this morning, enjoy your coffee...

Come Back Again- Please

I say it over and over , but found the profound quote from Sparse Grey Hackle, and it could

not be summed up any better.

"The trout do not rise in the cemetery, so you better do your fishing while you are still able."

Dirty Hippy Streamer Video by In the Riffle

After many posts of the success this fly has on all the western rivers we fish, I thought would post

the tying instructions for it. I think that you find the tutorial by In the Riffle to show a relatively simplistic tie to this great streamer pattern. Tied in both brown and rainbow trout colors, this fly skates through the shores side rocks and shallows with ease. Fish have a hard time resisting this delightful meal.

Certainly one of my go to streamers as of recent. You can also find the step by step instruction along with hundreds of other flies on Charlies website.
