I Am A Cobbler TOO

New shoes were gifted to Mary and I this winter, allowing us to have a pair of "cleated" boots on 

a permanent basis. It certainly makes it nice to have your boots set up with cleats all the time. No more slipping and sliding, at least when it is not self induced. The Simms Alumibites are money, easy to instal, durable, do not knock out , and get stickier the more chewed up they get. 

In preparation for Forks, the cobbler went to work and installed both set of boots with new studs, Job One done.

Having now visited this fabulous area, and experienced the mystical spell these

fish will cast upon you, 29 NOLA only made me yearn to be standing back on casting 

platform scanning for shadows or tails as we pole the banks of the marsh.

HUGE Saturday Event

 Well maybe in my own mind. I have been asked again by Charlie to join 

his list of weekly tiers to share wisdom and new patterns to those who do love fly tying.

I will again try to bluff my way through another year, by tying some of my favorites and even new

patterns too amaze those that show up.
